An employee may explain the program verbally, but verbal permission does not enroll a customer. Enrollment occurs only when the customer sends START from the customer’s own mobile device to (951) 621-9953. Before a customer is invited to enroll, the employee explains that the recurring program includes permit and registration renewal reminders, missing-document requests, status updates, customer support, and renewal-service offers; message frequency varies up to four messages per month; message and data rates may apply; consent is not a condition of purchase; and customers may reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance. Providing a phone number, submitting a form, or purchasing services does not constitute SMS consent. Customers who do not send START are not enrolled. The enrollment timestamp and phone number are recorded. Message Frequency and Rates You may receive up to four recurring text messages per month. Message frequency varies based on permit, compliance, renewal, document, status, and support activity. Message and data rates may apply. Opting Out Reply STOP to any Americas Truck Permits message to unsubscribe. After opting out, you will receive no further messages unless you voluntarily enroll again by sending START.
